How applications are scored

• Homes: up to 45 points, on a log scale of the number of new homes.
• Density: up to 12 points for taller residential buildings (4+, 8+, 15+ storeys).
• Mixed use: 8 points for homes alongside shops, offices or services.
• Location: 10 points when the description mentions a town centre, high street or station (a rough hint until we add real map data).
• Affordable homes: 5 points.
• Can you still help? 15–20 points while open for comments, 10 while awaiting decision, 8 at appeal. Decided applications score much lower.

Scores are a starting point for discussion, not a verdict. Always read the plans.
